The 3-Minute Weber Genesis II S-310 Review
Powerful grilling with a sleek design
By Graeme Messina | April 11, 2019
Features & Design: 3.5/5 ● Performance: 4/5 ● Value: 4/5 ● Capacity 4/5
The New Weber Genesis II S-310 is a beautifully made Stainless Steel gas grill that comfortably cooks for 5 to 7 people. Grilling on a Genesis II is anything but ordinary. With a world-class grilling engine, three powerful burners, and iGrill 3 smart technology compatibility - backed by a 10-year Weber warranty on all parts of the grill - the bar has been raised, and standard set.
The Weber Genesis II S-310 lacks a side burner, which is not ideal if you have more than the specified number of guests over. There is a warming rack, though. I do fell that with the price of this premium quality grill they should have included the I-Grill as a standard.
Is it for you?
The Genesis II S-310 is a Stainless-steel version of the E-310 brought out this year this grill offers you the same amazing features of the E-310 but with better durability of the stainless-steel griddle that allows for better heat retention. The Genesis II S-310 also offers stainless steel flavourizer bars that act as drip protectors for the burners and vaporise the fat dripping giving your meat a smoked flavour. These bars also have viewing windows in them so you can see when the burners are lit. The Genesis II offers a continuous lighting for your burners so that you will no longer have any issues with lighting as some gas grill have. The 3 burners with their tapered design allow for maxim use of the grilling area as grills tend to cook hotter at the back but with this tapering it allows for even heat in the front and back. The temperature gauge makes it easy to track the heat of your grill. The new I-Grill feature allows for you to attach probes into your meat and connects to the app on the phone to always keep track of your meat. The Genesis II S-310 has two stainless steel side tables where as the SE-335 has a side burner and has the extra sear zone inside the grill. The gas tank holder has a fuel level indicator on it which lets you know how full your tank is and if you get the I-Grill accessory it will give you an alert on your phone.

What we like
This unit is very efficient on gas and it makes a good addition to the patio. The stainless steel retains heat better and gives a good sear.
What we don’t like
For the price of this item I feel they could have included more such as the I grill accessory.
Should you buy it?
If you need a stylish and reliable griller for cooking meals outdoors, then this is a solid option for you. Gas-grillers are efficient and effective, and they look great out on the patio or outdoor entertainment area. This grill is easy to clean and they have put a lot of thought into giving your meat a better sear and flavour.
