Shure SE215-K Review

When people think of Shure, they think of really good audio equipment that is reliable with quality products at their disposal. The Shure SE215-K sure adheres this but with a twist: it does not carry the hefty price tag of most Shure products.

The Shure SE215-K is one of the many earphones that use earbuds that fits snugly in your ears. Right from its packing, the Shure SE215-K makes it a truly nice pair to have. Alongside with the actual earpiece are three pairs of different sizes of black foam tips and another three pairs of grey colored eartips. So that you can change it according to your taste and adjust the size fit in your ear. Also included in the transparent box is a manual, a soft case to keep your Shure SE215-K safe and organized and a nozzle cleaning tool. All in all, the Shure SE215-K might be the “perfect” companion for your listening pleasures.

There are two important aspects when deciding on a set of earphones and these are comfort and sound quality. Shure is own for their outstanding sound quality of their products and the Shure SE215-K is no different. The sounds emitting from the Shure SE215-K are rich and warm. The bass in the Shure SE215-K is more than decent and can make listening to music an even better experience. It’s not too deep or fast it’s just that the bass in this particular earphone is more of the midrange variety. It can hold up in most sounds. When you are using the Shure SE215-K, you might notice that the vocal sounds are also smooth, warm and nice. It doesn't drown the bass and tremble of the Shure SE215-K. Speaking of tremble, the tremble in the Shure SE215-K is good and decent. May be a bit on the grainy side but generally speaking, it is still full and nice.

All in all, the sound quality of the Shure SE215-K is decent and nice. As this is targeted for those with a budget and casual users in mind, the sound quality of the Shure SE215-K will pass up to their standards. But if you are an audiophile and a true connoisseur of sound, you might like the Shure SE215-K but would still prefer something that is much fuller and have more power.

The other aspect would be the quality of the Shure SE215-K as a product. Sure it has some extra earpads of different sizes, a pouch to store your Shure SE215-K and a cleaning tool, quality is all about the built, look and feel of the Shure SE215-K. First off, the eartips as explained earlier fits well and are comfortable to use even of a certain period of time. Great care must be used when switching eartips or least break the nozzle where you must place the eartips. The cable which makes up the entire Shure SE215-K is a much longer in length than standard ones and that it is also built thicker than most earphones so it feels really durable in the long run.

In closing, the Shure SE215-K is more than decent as it performed well for something at its price range. For its quality and performance, you would think that it belonged to a much pricey earphones.
