The Samsung Galaxy S 20+ is a notable upgrade to the S 10+, with the 5G connectivity option being a huge step up, giving lighting fast internet speeds.
The 64MP main camera has a 3x Hybrid Optic Zoom couple that, with Super Resolution Zoom enhanced by camera AI allows you to catch high-quality close-ups. The AI stabilized video and 8K video snap allows you to pull 33MP stills perfect for action shooting.
The Samsung Galaxy S 20+ design is basic as it looks like most of the previous S series, and the color options are limited to black, gray, and blue.
It lacks the higher chipset of the S20 Ultra and headphone jack as they are moving towards Bluetooth headphones.
Is it for you?
The Galaxy S20+ is a huge upgrade from the S10+ as it is more suited for gaming, video, and photography with a super sleek design. The quad rear and dual front cameras offer a large range and versatility of photography and videography.
What we like
The upgraded security system has a dedicated secure processor combined with the Knox platform that provides security on all levels from hardware to software, locking all your pins, passwords, and blockchain private key so it all your data stays private. With all the internals being protected, the IP 68 rating protects the rest from dust and water.
AKG teamed up with Samsung to give you excellent sound quality, so the sound on the stereo speakers is of high quality. The Screen is also something to note as it has a 120Hz refresh rate that leaves your screen scrolling seamless and smooth.
What we don’t like
The lack of a headphone jack limits you to use Bluetooth headphones instead of your standard set, which may leave you music-less when your Bluetooth headphones die.
The price of this device is something to take into consideration as its very high, but you are getting a high-quality Samsung.
Should you buy it?
The Samsung Galaxy S20+ is an excellent upgrade to the S10+, and it will not disappoint you with all the upgraded features.
