The Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011 standard edition was launched with the purpose of assisting small businesses in their IT needs such as simplifying backups, hosting their own email servers and other collaborations. The previous editions of this OS were also very popular and the 2011 version does not disappoint us at all. It is an ideal server for small businesses which need a wholesome and on-site solution.
The Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011 could support up to 75 users and provides business-class server technologies for both communication as well as efficient collaboration. It is an all-in-one bundled package which consists of principal exchange, Windows server update services (WSUS) and SharePoint. These power packed features are specifically designed keeping in mind the various business-oriented needs and demands. Consequently, this server software cannot be operated by novices and needs certain amount of technical knowledge for proper handling and optimal utilization. In order to assist the IT professionals furthermore, this small business server software by Microsoft comes with a fairly easy set-up and a detailed configuration guide.
