Fujifilm X-E1 Review
Old school design meets new school applications in the FujiFilm X-E1. It does not feature a hybrid viewfinder thus it is much smaller, lighter and cheaper. This camera won’t win any awards based on its lack of external features, but it is definitely one solid built camera.
For people who just wanted a camera that you can use with no frills and always ready, then the FujiFilm X-E1 is for you. This makes it as a viable DSLR replacement. It has a built in RAW converter, APC-C sensor, manual adjustment in the aperture and more. As the aim is for a quick use, there is no need to toggle a lot of settings between aperture, shutter and modes – a simple switch in this is all you need. Just flip the switch and start taking pictures.
The FujiFilm X-E1 has a gorgeous 16 MP camera so it brings out the best in the quality and colors of your photos being taken. Colors are very much vibrant and nice. The viewfinder is rather simple but it does the job done and that it has a pretty good range. Battery life is also pretty good in this device, comparing well with other similar models in the market. You can still take shots even when the camera is on its last battery charge is drained.
FujiFilm X-E1 is also a compact camera that lives up to its title, making it easy and convenient to carry around. The FujiFilm X-E1 has all the bells and whistles to be an excellent digital camera, and it does just that. It’s not perfect and has a few flaws but those are outweighed by its sturdy build and near perfect performance. This is a device that fits particularly well into the needs of most casual photographers, since it is at the same time very easy to use and light on the features (which can be confusing sometimes). All in all, this product offers a compact, sturdy and simple camera with excellent overall performance – nothing more and nothing less.
