Pool Cleaning

Pool Cleaning is the collection of debris and sediment from the swimming pool. It takes a lot of time to clean the pool without the use of machines, the very reason why so many inventors plunge into the business of making automated cleaners.

Pressure pool cleaners use booster pump pressurized water to suck the debris and sediment from the pool. This is less popular these days due to high cost incurred in running. In this pressure pool cleaner, the debris is not always push to the filter, so, less frequency of cleaning the filter. They are hard-wearing and low-maintenance. On the other hand, they don’t scrub the walls of the pool and they cannot consistently remove small particles in the pool’s water. This cleaner needs more electricity when another pump is used.

Suction pool cleaners travel along the floors and walls of the pool to suck debris and dirt with the use a hose attached to a vacuum plate or line. It can thoroughly clean the very small particles and debris. Pools’ walls are brushed by this type of cleaner. It is like a mobile drain which is more affordable than the automatic or robotic type. On the other hand, there is a need to clean the filter frequently because with this type of pool cleaner, the debris and sediments are sent directly to the filter. They could also hardly handle big debris that float on the water.

Return-side-driven cleaners use for debris collection the water overflow that is returned to the pool. The cleaner pushes dirty water through a filter bag. This cleaner normally needs additional pump. This cleaner is no longer in-demand due to the high cost of having another pump.

Electric cleaners suck water into the lower part of the cleaner and pass through its filter bag, then, out of the top channel of the cleaner. This cleaner is easy to use, after plugging it, you are ready to clean.

Robotic pool cleaners use an external power cable to drive debris-sucking motors. They have sensors use in operating the cleaners. The machine is restarted and reversed in its route. These cleaners have brushes that rotate and scrub the tiles of the pool while trapping the dirt itself into a reusable filter bag. They can thoroughly remove any kind of debris from the pool water and they easily move the water around the pool. The movement, however, is only up to where the electrical cable could reach. The pump and filter need to be cleaned frequently. The robotic cleaner is definitely more expensive than other types.

Pool Cleaning Materials

Some of the cleaning materials needed for the pool are the following:

Water Clarifier is used to remove the cloudiness of the water and make it crystal clear.

Rust/Scale Remover is non-toxic, environment-friendly and is added directly to the pool water.

Pool Shock is used to kill destructive contaminants from the swimming pool.

Gentle Tile Cleanser is used once a month or more if needed.

Pool Filter Cleaners have different kinds like the Cartridge, Sand, Diatomaceous Earth (DE), Cleaner Gels, Filter Clear Solutions and Filter Cleaning Wands. They will all help in lengthening the life span of the filter.
