Shop online this Black Friday weekend for all the best deals in Canada with Shopbot.

Black friday was a weekend sale, but now we are seeing retailers starting on the Thursday before and running all the way till Cyber Monday.

With up to 80% off many amazing products the key is to know what you are after and shop quickly to ensure that you don’t miss out as with many of these deals, stock is limited. Every year we are seeing more volume and demand from customers and more online shops offering better discounts.

This year we are expecting even more growth in discounts and in demand.

According to Statista data released on Monday, Half of Canadian shoppers planned to spend between 100 and 300 Canadian dollars on Black Friday, and almost ten percent planned to spend over 1,500 Canadian dollars. The average holiday shopping expenditure for Canadians shopping in-store in 2019 was 1,337 Canadian dollars. On Black Friday, the largest growth in spending was seen in consumer electronics, which increased substantially to 18.48 percent of spending. Department stores were also successful in gaining a larger share of the consumer’s wallet, with an 18.14 percent increase in spending on Black Friday

Despite concerns that Canadians might cut back on their spending this holiday season, the data compiled from Black Friday and Cyber Monday is an encouraging sign for Canadian retailers.
