Panasonic HC-V520 Review
Panasonic is a world renowned brand for producing high quality electrical gadgets and electronics. The Panasonic HC-V520 falls under the category of video cameras and camcorders produced by Panasonic.
Some of the other camcorder brands produced by this company include the Panasonic HC-X920 and the Panasonic HC-V500. However, just like the other Panasonic brands, the HC-V520 does not disappoint. The first impression you get when you see this video camera is good. The build quality and the design of the video camera are good and satisfactory to any user. Furthermore, the camera is compact and ideal for multi-purpose use. The Panasonic HC-V520 has a single sensor which is the 1/5.8in BSI MOS version.
One thing that was particularly impressive was the optical zoom of this video camera. It is able to provide an optical zoom of 50 times and with this kind of zooming power, you can be able to zoom in objects from very far and get very clear images. Again the stabilization system is excellent. This camcorder uses the Panasonic Optical Image Stabilization system which works very well. You wouldn’t have any problems when it comes to focusing and getting very stable images. The standard 802.11n Wi-Fi adaptor works quite well when it comes to streaming videos online and playing them directly on your PC or even television set. This is modern technology and definitely a big plus to this camcorder.
It is a feature that not very many video cameras have and you will find it very interesting. When it comes to the quality of videos that you can record with the Panasonic HC-V520, it does not disappoint. This video camera is able to capture full HD video footage at a maximum bitrate of 28Mbit per second. This is also very impressive and you will definitely like the image and video quality that you will get. This video recorder has a mini USB port that can be used for transferring files to your PC or laptop. There is also a mini HDMI port that can be used to connect to a television set as well as a projector. There is also an AV port for the same purpose of connecting to a TV or projector.
However, this camcorder lacks the standard audio jack and hence this possesses a challenge when you want to plug in and listen to videos from your headphones. This is one area that the manufacturer should have considered doing a better job in order to improve the quality of this camcorder. In general this is not a bad video recorder to purchase. The camcorder does not disappoint in many aspects and has quite a number of convenient features. The Panasonic HC-V520 is able to produce good image quality and hence satisfying one of the most important needs of the customers. This video camera is impressive and wouldn’t disappoint you.
