   The Citizen Skyhawk JY0040 is light powered. This saves batteries and saves the wearer from watch winding routines. This would surely last a lifetime because the power source is always available. It has a maximum power reserve of up to thirty months and also quipped with low charge warning or power reserve indicator.
   
   The Citizen Skyhawk is water resistant of up to 660 feet. Sea lovers would love this watch. It has a Japanese quartz movement and claims to have an atomic time keeping with radio controlled precision which is another plus factor for time accuracy and reliability.
   
   The Citizen Skyhawk watch looks really sturdy and manly. The display area is full of information that befits any man who loves sports. It displays a 99 minute timer, a 1/100 second chronograph that is up to 24 hours and two alarms for the really busy people. It looks complicated to use but with the use of the manual and some practice, anyone will get used to it.
   
   The Citizen Skyhawk displays the world time in 43 cities, the Greenwich Mean Time and a calendar that makes it handy to travelers. The display area looks really busy, though. The back-lighting is not bright enough to clearly see the numbers except for the hands which have luminous colors in them.
   
   The crown or the knob used for changing the mode or setting the alarm needs to be pulled first before it could be turned; however, it is too smooth to be pulled and to be turned. A longer fingernail is needed to catch the base of the crown for a better pull. The watch should be removed first before these controls can be managed well. The crown should be easy to grip and turn.
   
   The whole ensemble is made of stainless steel with silver-toned hands. The markers have luminous colors that accentuate the whole silver package. It is attractive but a little hefty being 16 ounces in weight.
